Preservation of eco-balance
The purpose of the ecological policy of PJSC "TGC-2" - ecological balance preservation through the increase of a management efficiency of the nature protection activity
PJSC "TGC-2", while being the large energy supplier in regions of its presence, realizes that the company product is the basis of living since it is impossible to imagine modern life without electric and heat power, thus the power branch is among the industries that have magnificent influence on the environment condition. Realizing the responsibility for the impact that is made by air emissions, drains into the water objects and soil pollution, the Company builds its ecological policy in four directions:
- Protection of atmospheric air;
- Protection and rational use of water resources;
- Protection and rational use of the soil, waste recycling;
- Energy supply.
PJSC "TGC-2" conducts active investment activity in order to decrease the influence on environment. PJSC "TGC-2" makes all necessary arrangements in order to prevent and gradual decrease of air emissions into the atmosphere, drains into the water objects, to arrange waste location places in order to decrease technogenic load on the environment.
In 2006 the Company has developed the program of ecological policy realization which will be supplied by 123 138 300 rubles in 2007, 59 110 000 rubles - in 2008, 101 130 000 rubles - in 2009. Additional financing of the PJSC "AGC" ecological program will reach 75 650 300 rubles in 2007, 26 800 000 rubles in 2008, and 59 700 000 rubles are planned for 2009.
Ecological group which is responsible for industrial activity impact on the ecological situation, solves questions of the Company's ecological productivity management, responsible for coordination of all obligations performance fixed by current Russian legislation was created in order to perform company's program systematically. Expert ecologists work on each power facility. Annually all experts of PJSC "TGC-2" Head Department report to the Executive Unit of PJSC "TGC-2" about nature environmental actions performance and furthermore the Company forms the report on ecological policy actions as a part of reports for shareholders meeting.
PJSC "TGC-2" aims to react on all references (of conservation organizations or of the population) to the environmental body with complaints or inquiries concerning Company's environmental impact data provision. PJSC "TGC-2" closely co-operates with the hydrometeorology and environment monitoring Centers on regions, forming data on the atmospheric air background pollution, on a condition of water objects, warnings concerning unfavorable weather conditions, and data concerning altitude of the atmosphere pollution sources.
Company gives various publications in mass media in order to form the best understanding of its ecological policy.
PJSC "TGC-2" participates in the public events directed on the initiatives support in the area of ecological balance preservation.
From the moment of its foundation of PJSC "TGC-2" aims to minimize negative consequences of its work and to prevent environmental legislation infringement
Constant quality control of waste waters and also parameters of polluting substances emissions into atmosphere is made in all Head department enterprises. Monitoring of underground waters mode control and their pollution in ash-disposal area and on enterprises territory is annually conducted.
Plans till 2011:
- Signing of agreements with Administrations in ecology sphere, the organization and performance of works on delimitation of sanitary protection zone boundaries;
- Participation in public events in order to receive the information, to adjust the contacts with the enterprises, to develop new technologies for the environmental complex. For example, Days of protection against the ecological hazard;
- Realization of the Company's ecological policy program during 2007-2011.
- Work realization on perfection of corporate standard-methodical and technological base in the environment protection sphere:
- Creation of typical instructions directed on ecologically destructive substances (various petroleum products, oils, fuel oil, fuel and lubricants) and dangerous waste (mercury lamps, low-containing wastes) handling;
- Creation of technical and technological standards in the ecological safety and environmental activity field.
- Introduction of ecological management and ecological audit systems:
- The organization of training (improvement of professional skills) of Company's workers and senior officers appointed to be responsible for ecological audit proceeding and introduction of ecological management system. It is planned to spend 120 000 rubles on training in 2007.
- The realization of ecological audit organization in all PJSC "TGC-2" Head departments, by Company's trained experts.
- Preparation and conformation of administrative and regulating documents concerning ecological management introduction;
- The analysis and updating of Company's current standards, positions, orders, etc. with the view to their updating and mutual coordination taking into account ecological management requirements.
Key nucleus of the PJSC "TGC-2" policy in energy supply and ecological balance preservations is the Company's Investment program which realization will allow to decrease the specific fuel consumption (from 338 to 297 g/kWh.) and also current consumption for its own needs, first of all, by means of newest steam gas equipment introduction.
