Charity - is an indicator of social maturity.
For "TGC-2" notions like charity and social programs is a natural aspiration to participation in the life of the country and social development.
"TGC-2" management adopts quite positive civil attitude, that business, working in Russian Federation, has to and able to give moneyed assistance to those who are sorely in need.
There is a concept in the Company, that allows to make our help maximum effective and targeted. The rising generation, war and disabled veterans, education, public health, culture and sports are objects of special concern for the Company.
JSC "TGC-2" for children
One of the main priorities of OAO "TGC-2" charity activities is the support of preschool education institutions and children's education. This choice is not random - currently those social sectors have most financial problems. Charitable funds are directed to schools and preschool education institutions in all regions of OAO "TGC-2" presence. In October 2007 the Company will transmit considerable funds to Regional Charitable Foundation "Illustrated books for small blind children".
OAO "TGC-2" attaches special significance to arrangement of conditions for upbringing and development of, left without parental care, who are currently considered as most vulnerable social group.
OAO "TGC-2" gives support to Severodvinsk secondary boarding-school, Social Organization for orphans support "Dobrota " (Tver), orphanage # 1(Archangelsk), Oktyabrsky orphanage (Yaroslavl Region).
Special place in our program is given to allocation of charitable support for institutions, which arrange crative activities for young people and children.
Thus means, transferred by TGC-2, are directed to children's sport classes, specialized sport and art clubs in regions of TGC-2 presence: ioai "Center for children and youth "Lider" "Senior Management of OAO "TGC-2" in Vologda Region", iioai "Children's Music School named after V.P. Trifonov", Children and youth physical culture school "Profsouzov" (Kostroma), Children and youth Center "Lider" (Vologda), eoe "Kabriolet" (Yugoslavl) and many others.
We are confident that by creating of favorable conditions for the oncoming generation, by occupying them with active sports and various hobbies during spare time, it is possible to form healthy personality.
TGC-2 also gives support to Institutions of Higher Education and targeted aid to talented students.
In 2007 the Company transferred money to the Kostroma Agricultural Academy and continued the realization of individual scholarships project.
Sdobin D.A., a student of The Energy Technical School named after Chizhov (Kostroma) received TGC-2 scholarship.
Elderly people and veteran support
In august 2007 the Company donated moneyed assistance to "Vologda Regional Public Body of veterans and power engineering specialists", which was used as targeted material support for former employees of power industry enterprises in Vologda Region.
In 2006 OAO "TGC-2" transferred money to "Veteran Organizations Support Fund in Vologda", and also to Autonomous Non-profit organization "Bozhedomje" (Yaroslavl Region).
OAO "TGC-2" is highly concerned in problems of war veterans, as well as military men and their families. In may 2007 the Company donated moneyed assistance to Kirov District Public Organization of war and labor veterans, armed services and law enforcement agencies (Yaroslavl), and also to Domestic forces of Privolzhsk district, which was able to organize recreation for children of killed military men.
The company cares about protection and reconstruction of Russia's cultural historical monuments by means of organized financial support, for example for the monuments like The Church of John the Baptist in Roshjenye (Vologda), the first record was dated to 1618.
Medicine is also one of the priority directions of the Company's charitable activity.
The company supported Municipal Health Care Institution "Municipal Hospital #1" (Kostroma), Government Health Care Institution "Clinical Hospital # 5" (Yaroslavl), Government Health Care Institution "Regional Clinical Hospital" (Tver), Government Health Care Institution "Children's Regional Clinical Hospital" (Tver), Government Health Care Institution "Children's Municipal Clinical Hospital #1" (Tver), iou "Orphanage" (Vologda), Regional Children's Clinical Hospital named after P.G. Vyzhlezova (Archandelsk).
In 2006 considerable part of charitable program budget was directed to Archangelsk Regional Department of all-Russian Social Organization "Russian Red Cross" for treatment of former worker, Suhanov U.A.
OAO "TGC-2" actively participates in cultural life in the cities of presence, gives sponsoring money to organization of public-cultural activities. In 2007 the Company provided support to Yaroslavl and Vologda city halls for arrangement of City celebrations Day.
"TGC-2" provides financial support to various public socially important organizations, among them Municipal Institution "Complex Center of Social Service" (Vologda), Social Rehabilitation for under-age people "Phenix" (Vologda), eoio "Losta", oaii "Chernobyl clean-up veterans of Ministry of Fuel and Energy" (Moskva), "Yaroslavl State Circus" (Yaroslavl), Limited liability company "Printing office of A. Ushakov TUSH" (Tver), Art Song Cclub(Tver).
JSC "TGC-2" plans forming the Company Concept for rendering of beneficial help: involve our business partners in sponsorship on a cost sharing basis within the frameworks of thematic campaign, involve (within reason and on a voluntary basis) employees of the Company.
In 2007 the Company allocated a sum of 2 147 thousands rubles to realization of charity campaigns, which provide help for medical, educational, socially important institutions.
Employees of JSC "TGC-2" - is the object of extra care
The Social program, focused on development of favorable conditions of life and labour of the employees, formation of propitious psychological climate in a group.
TGC-2 supports employees and members of their families in various life situations. The Company gives extra days of rest and vacation due to the family commitments, gives support to large families and families with disabled children, gives material aid to nonworking mothers, and mothers whose children are at the age of 3, helps large families. The company pays partial or full compensatory payments for acquisition of trip tickets by employees and members of their families. The Company lends support to nonworking pensioners within the frameworks of the Company's program by means of monthly additional payments and compensations of expenditures connected with electricity, heat power and hot-water supply, and also compensations to families, who live in houses with stove and gas heating.
Other additional, performed by the Company, compensatory payments are the part of corporate social program and are oriented to employee's cost reimbursement and compensation of health and moral damage.
TGC-2 in consort with trade union organizations held mass cultural activities, which favor the development of employee's creative skills and rising of their cultural standards. Company's mass cultural activity includes celebrations, contests, excursions arrangements for employees and their children.
A special place in TGC-2 social program belongs to recreative sports, which are held to promote employees' health and to popularize healthy life-style in the society. To this effect enterprises lease gymnasiums and workout rooms, swimming pools for arrangement of sporting and health-improving activities.
TGC-2 participates in non-governmental pension coverage program. The Company makes payments to Non-state Pension Fund of electric power industry in a benefit for workers for the purpose of funding future additional corporate employees' pension (on top of state pension).
Accident and illness insurances are significant elements of social package, provided by TGC-2 for its employees. The social package is a guarantee of financial support for employee and his family in case of accident.
Each employee, when he starts working for the Company, receives voluntary health insurance policy (VHI), which gives him the right to get free dental health service, to cover emergency care rendering, inpatient treatment, ambulatory medicine or private doctor service expenditures.
TGC-2 takes care of employees' housing conditions improvement, in the first place, of those, who live in accommodations below social norms.
Cardinal problem solving in housing sphere is an element of unified series of measures for stabilization of production and technological stability of OAO "TGC-2" and enforcement of basic orientations of social policy.
Housing policy OAO "TGC-2" is carried out on the basis of adopted enactment of corporate assistance and employees support in improvement of housing conditions. This enactment was developed in concordance with strategy concept of RAO UES of Russia.
OAO "TGC-2" social program stimulates creation and maintenance of favorable conditions in groups, allows to attract and keep highly qualified personnel, to improve employees' labour motivation, to develop Company's corporate culture.
